国内の寺院には歴史ある襖絵が数多くあり,博物館でこれら全てを展示することは困難である.本 研究では,寺院を対象とした博物館展示を支援するため,襖配置の CG 再現および体験型システムの 開発を行った.博物館の実物展示と併せて展示する体験型システムとして,VR ゴーグルおよび襖配置 システムを開発した.VR ゴーグルは CG で再現された部屋の全周囲を見渡すことができ,襖配置シス テムはタッチ操作で襖を移動させることにより様々な配置でのシミュレーションが可能である.さら に,CG を用いて過去の襖配置を再現した 4K 映像を制作した.制作した映像は,龍谷ミュージアムの 特別展「聖護院門跡の名宝」において上映し,開発した二つのシステムは特別展の関連イベントとして 3 日間展示した. |

Although a Buddhist temple has many traditional sliding doors used for partitioning rooms, it is difficult to bring all of the sliding doors from a temple to a museum exhibition. We have reproduced the arrangement of a temple’s sliding doors in 3D space and developed two systems to support exhibitions at a museum. One system uses goggles to show a stereoscopic 3D image, which helps visitors to understand the actual arrangement of sliding doors as well as the ambience of the room. The other system can simulate various arrangements of sliding doors by moving the doors using touch input on a tablet’s screen. Moreover, we created a 4K-resolution video using the reproduced CG of sliding-door arrangements previously set. The created videos were shown at a special exhibition of the Ryukoku Museum, “Treasures of Shogo-in Monzeki Temple,” and the proposed systems were demonstrated for three days as one of the events related to the special exhibition. |
