日本の小学校では 2020 年度から，中学校では 2021 年度からコンピュータ・プログラミングが必修化・強化さ れる.しかし，新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響で小中学校は休校を余儀なくされ，遅れを取り戻すことが最優先事 項になっている.また，プログラミング教育や担当教員の研修も進んでいない.そこで我々は，大学で普及している オンライン教育を活用した小中学校の生徒および教員向けのプログラミング講座を開講した.オンデマンドの教材 (説明ビデオ，演習課題)とオンラインでの個別指導を組み合わせることで，生徒や教員は，国内どこに居ても本講 座を受講できる.また，個別指導もオンライン化することにより，指導員は遠隔地からのリモートワークが可能であ る.文部科学省は GIGA スクール構想を通じて全国の小中高校にパソコンとインターネットの整備を進めているた め，本講座の顧客層が拡大することも十分期待できる. |

Mandatory computer programming education begins at elementary school and junior high school in Japan from 2020 and 2021 respectively. However, the COVID-19 has forced the lockdown of elementary and junior high schools, and educational catch up has become the top priority. Furthermore, programming education and training of the teachers in charge are not proceeding. We thus started a programming seminar for elementary and junior high school students and teachers using online education, which is widely used in universities. The combination of on-demand materials, such as instructional videos and programming exercises, and online face-to-face instruction allows students and teachers to take the seminar from anywhere in the country. In addition, tutors can work remotely by realizing online face-to-face instruction. Since the Ministry of Education (MEXT) is promoting the provision of computers and the Internet connections to schools across the country through the GIGA school project, we can expect the number of customers of the seminar to expand. |
