近年，人文科学研究資料のデジタル化が進行中で，多くの古文書や古典籍のテキストデータベースが公開されている．しかし，データベース構築時の方針により，符号化文字集合に登録されていない漢字，すなわち外字の使用が避けられない場面が存在する．現在利用されている GlyphWiki は，外字の表示や管理を可能にするが，次の課題を抱えている：（ 1）GlyphWiki の運営は長期的な保証がなく，オープンソースではないため内製化可能な代替サービスが不在である．（ 2） GlyphWiki のデータライセンスとサイトポリシにより，一部の字形の登録やデータのライセンスが制約される．（ 3）字形の一括管理機能が不足している．これらの問題に対処するため，公開範囲を設定でき，オープンソースソフトウェアライセンスのもとで再配布が可能な新しい漢字字形管理システム， hi-glyphの開発を行った．本論文では， hi-glyphの開発及びその応用に関する詳細を提供する． |

In recent years, there has been significant progress in the digitization of humanities research materials, leading to the public release of numerous databases containing old documents and classical books. However, due to database construction policies, th ere are situations where the use of Chinese characters not registered in standardized character sets, known as "Gaiji" (external characters), beco mes unavoidable. While the existing GlyphWiki site facilitates the display and management of these Gaiji, it presents several challenges: (1) The long-term operation of GlyphWiki is not guaranteed, and being not open source, there are no alternative services if its operation ceases. (2) Due to GlyphWiki's da ta licensing and site policies, the re gistration and internal use of certain characters are restricted. (3) There's a lack of functionality for the bulk management of a large number of glyphs. To address these issues, we developed "hi-glyph", a new Kanji glyph management system that strictly limits the public access range and allows redistri bution under open-source software licen sing. This paper provides details on the characteristics and applications of hi-glyph. |
