| 値 | 本稿は筆者が新聞を教材として活用した具体例と、児童生徒の意欲を育てるための実施上の留意点を紹介したものである。筆者は平成7 年から高等学校教育現場でNIE 活動を実践し、小中高等学校教員対象の各種NIE 講座を担当して、表現意欲を高め確かな学力の育成をはかるアクティブラーニングのための新聞教材の活用を進めてきた。また、今年度からは本学で、将来中学・高校の教員を目指す学生を対象にNIE を実施している。アクティブラーニングのための適切な手法としてNIE 活動が授業に取り入れられることを願うものである。 | |||||||

| 値 | This article deals with a practical case in which the author used newspapers as a teaching material, and it also shows key advice as to how to foster learners' motivation in NIE activities. After introducing NIE activities in classes at a high school in 1995, the author has been giving lectures on NIE to teachers at elementary and high schools to promote the practical use of newspapers as a teaching material for active learning, which improves students’ motivation to express themselves and fosters solid academic abilities. The author suggests that NIE activities should be adopted in class as a suitable method for active learning. |
