| 内容記述 | 「ペット供養は宗教行為ではない」として、愛知県内の宗教法人に対して税務署が課税処分をしたことに端を発し、同処分の取消を求める行政訴訟が名古屋地裁で継続中である。争点は宗教とは何かということにあるが、同時に、行政が勝手に何を宗教とし、何は宗教でないと判断してよいものかが大きな問題となる。「百人の学者がいれば百通りの定義がある」と言われる宗教問題であるが、行政の問題としては統一的に扱われる必要がある。その視点から、「宗教とは何か」という宗教の判断基準について考察する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | A Buddhist temple filed a suit against the tax agency because of its taxation on a memorial service for pet. The issue is what is religion, however it is also a problem for government to decide what is religion. In Japan, the definition of religion is unclear and many definitions are insisted, but it should be united for administrative matter. For this point, I will argue on a criterion of religion. | |||||
