| 値 | Kurobaneban Nihonshoki is one of the printed texts of Nihonshoki, published in 1820 by Masunari Ozeki (1781-1845), the Lord of Kurobane. Kundoku-Japanized reading of Chinese texts- of this text is comparatively different from the other texts of Nihonshoki in terms of hendokuho-another Japanese way of reading- in regard to words, grammatical meanings, and other linguistical matters. Masunari Ozeki took into account not only the traditional reading of Nihonshoki which the Yoshidas had started in the Middle Ages but also recent studies in the Edo period such as Kokugaku and the Japanese translations of the Confucian scriptures, in order to compile this text. | |||||
