| 値 | Ansai Yamazaki and his apprentices did some research in the Nihonshoki. Since the end of the 17th century, some of the printed texts of the first two books of the Nihonshoki have been thought to have been edited by them, based on the results of their research. In general, these texts have been called the Ansaiban-Jindaiki. However, these texts contain a lot of points which are different from the results of their research, and further, the texts are in fact similar to those of the Kanbunhanpon, the general text of the Nihonshoki since the end of the 17th century. The Kanbunhanpon was edited by members of a religious sect which Ansai Yamazaki opposed. On the basis of these facts, it is concluded that the Ansaiban-Jindaiki was not edited by Ansai Yamazaki and his apprentices. |
