| 内容記述 | 教育活動に関する経済学的分析の試みは，近年その数がふえている．本研究ノートは放送大学を具体的事例として，教育機関を企業とみる立場で経済分析を加えるものである．放送大学が，放送という手段に依存する度合いの大きい“遠隔教育”であること，また“生涯学習”に対応することを主要な目的とするものであることにより，通常の大学と異なる性格をもつという実態が，経済学的分析を加えることによって明らかにされると考える．なお小論は単に考え方を整理するための覚書であることをことわっておきたい． | |||||

| 値 | In this short essay, I try to show a way to analyse the activities of educational institutions, particularly that of universities from an economist's point of view. I take up the University of the Air as an example. My attempt results in clarifying the unique characteristics of the university, namely "Distance Education" and "Life-long Education". |
