| 内容記述 | 二条天皇の皇子である六条天皇 (1164~1176) の乳母は、藤原邦子という女性である。本稿は、邦子がなぜ六条天皇の乳母に抜擢されたのかという点を考察することにより、当該期の政局について論じるものである。父親である後白河院と対立した二条天皇を後援したのは、摂関家と二条天皇乳母の家系 (葉室流) である。藤原邦子は、摂関家家司をつとめた藤原邦綱の娘であり、葉室流藤原成頼の妻である。「乳父」邦綱と「乳夫」成頼が、「乳母」邦子を介して六条天皇の補佐を行った。六条乳母邦子は二条親政下の体制を象徴しているのである。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The menoto (nursing mother) employed to take care of Emperor Rokujo (1164-1176, son of Emperor Nijo) was a woman named Fujiwara no Houshi. This text will explore the political situation of that time by considering how Houshi was chosen to be Emperor Rokujo's menoto. When Emperor Nijo opposed his father, Emperor Go-Shirakawa, his sources of support were the regent family and the Hamuro family, the family of menoto who had taken care of him. Fujiwara no Houshi was the daughter of Fujiwara no Kunitsuna, who was the steward in charge of running the regent family. Her husband was Fujiwara no Nariyori from the Hamuro family. Her father Kunitsuna and husband Nariyori served Emperor Rokujo through Houshi during her service as his menoto, and Houshi's appointment to this role was symbolic of how Emperor Nijo's rule functioned. |
