| 内容記述 | ソプラノ歌手の永井郁子（1893〜1983）が展開した邦語歌唱運動（1925〜1941）において、レート白粉本舗平尾賛平商店とタイアップして行った1929年秋の演奏旅行は一際異彩を放っている。その実態を明らかにすると共に、その社会的な意味を考えることが本稿の目的である。 調査の結果、9月下旬から東京（4回）、横浜、大阪（4回）、神戸、京都の計11回、11月中旬に奈良、和歌山、岡山、高松（2回）、松山、広島、福岡（3回）、熊本、大分の計12回、と合わせて少なくとも23回の独唱会を実施し、どの会場も大入りであったことが明らかになった。 これは新化粧水「レートソプラ」の発売記念行事として行われたもので、「お耳にソプラノお手にはソプラ」のキャッチフレーズも用いられた。新聞広告を多用しながら、各地の化粧品店とレート会の顧客のネットワークを通じて全国展開したものと理解される。 化粧品会社による冠コンサートが日本で盛んになるのは戦後の1970年代であり、1929年という突出して早い時期に行われた平尾賛平商店によるこれら一連の独唱会は、極めて先駆的な例と位置づけられる。 |

| 内容記述 | In the 'Movement for Singing in Japanese' (1925-1941) led by soprano singer NAGAI Ikuko (1893-1983), the performance tour in the fall of 1929 stands out, in that it was tied up with Lait White Powder Cosmetics, run by HIRAO Sampei Shōten, Ltd. The purpose of this paper is to clarify its details and to consider its social significance. As a result of this survey, it has become clear that she gave eleven recitals in late September : four in Tokyo, one in Yokohama, four in Osaka, one in Kobe, and one in Kyoto; and twelve recitals in mid‒November : one in Nara, one in Wakayama, one in Okayama, two in Takamatsu, one in Matsuyama, one in Hiroshima, three in Fukuoka, one in Kumamoto, and one in Oita. Every concert drew a large audience. These concerts were held to promote the release of the new beauty lotion "Lait Sopra", and the catchphrase "Soprano for your ears and Sopra for your hands" was also used. This was presumably propagated nationwide through the network of cosmetics stores and Lait customers associations in various regions, while making heavy use of newspaper advertisements. Although classical concerts sponsored by cosmetics companies flourished in Japan in the 1970s, Nagai’s were extremely pioneering examples, taking place as early as in 1929. |
