| 内容記述 | 本稿は「額田寺伽藍並条里図」に描かれている額田寺と関係すると思われる額田部氏について、畿内の中小豪族の歴史とその存在形態を明らかにするという視点から考察を試みたものである。額田部氏はこの図に描かれている額田部丘陵を五世紀以来の本拠とし、六世紀頃に飼馬を以てヤマト王権に仕え、また額田部皇女の宮の運営・資養を担当する額田部の管理者として登場する。額田部皇女が推古天皇として即位するとともに、額田部氏も惰使の郊労など中央の職務分担に与り、飼馬の技術を生かした役割を果たしたりするが、基本的にはヤマト王権を構成する中小豪族として定着している。律令制下においても、中央の中下級官人や王臣家に仕えるなど、中央での地位は変化していない。と同時に、額田部氏は本拠地にも勢力を残し、大和国平群郡の譜第郡領氏族としての活動も有する。即ち、中央下級官人と在地での郡領の地位維持という二面性を保持していたと理解されるのである。この在地豪族としての額田部氏の経済基盤となったのが、額田寺の存在とその寺領であった。畿外の郡領氏族とは異なって、在地豪族としての力が弱い畿内の郡司氏族にとっては、寺院は精神面だけではなく、経営の一大拠点となり、この地域における額田部氏の勢力の存続を支えたものと思われる。 以上のような額田部氏のあり方の一般化を求めて、畿内の郡司氏族全般についても検討し、畿内郡司氏族は畿内の中小豪族として名代の管理者や職業部民の管理者などとしてヤマト王権の実務を支え、律令制下においても中下級官人として国家の日常業務を担う存在であり、同時に郡司として在地での勢威も保持しており、中下級官人と在地豪族の二面性を備えた存在であったことを確認した。この二つの側面は畿内の郡司氏族にとってともに重視すべき要素であり、両立を以てこそ畿内中小豪族たる彼らの存立基盤を確保することができたのである。 |

| 内容記述 | The paper discusses the history of the Nukatabe clan which is related to the Nukata-dera temple on the map. The clan was based on the Nukatabe hills depicted on the map since the fifth century. They began to serve the Yamato authority with a horse-raising business in the sixth century. The clan also took care of the Nukatabe princess and was actively involved the Yamato government after she took the throne as Empress Suiko. Notably, the clan maintained their position as the lord in their homeland while working for the central government. Under the ritsuryo legislation, the Nukatabe clan continued to serve the central government. At the same time, the clan acted as provincial lord in the Heguri county in the Yamato region. The Nukata-dera temple and its property were vital to the clan as they provided not only spiritual but also financial support for the clan. This two-faced character of the clan's business was common among the clans based in the Kinai region. They worked for the central government as administrators, while maintaining their status as provincial governors in their homelands. |
