| 内容記述 | [Author abstract]A butterfly community was observed on the Nara Campus of Kinki University, haifway up the Yata Hills in a coppice, 150-200 m above sea level. The campus comprises secondary forest, grasslands, garden, and ponds. Sixty-one species of butterflies were recorded. There was a strong similarity between the butterfly community found on this campus and those found in some coppices in the Kinki district, whereas there was little resemblance between this community and those found in urban parks in Osaka prefecture. The EI (environmental index) value was 124,indicating a favorable natural environment for butterflies.[著者抄録]近畿大学奈良キャンパスのチョウ類を定量的, 定性的に調査した結果, 61種が記録された。近畿各地の里山や都市公園のチョウ類との類似性を比較したところ, 里山的環境にある地域との類似性が高かった, また各種類のチョウを生息環境に応じて点数化して合計した環境指数EI値は124となり, 多自然で, 良好な林や草原の存在する環境と判定された。 | |||||||||||||||||
