The three components model proposed by Allen \u0026 Meyer has been made use to understand the employee\u0027s sense of belonging to his/her company in many previous studies. In this paper, however, the author proposes a new conceptual typology of organizational commitment, an intrinsic commitment and an extrinsic commitment, to explore the employee\u0027s mental health through applying the causal attribution theory. A survey was conducted among 2, 000 small and medium-sized businesses.
