We demonstrated that the crystal composition (anatase/rutile ratio) of the binary TiO2 coating layer could be easily controlled via the modified sol-gel method by changing the concentration of the rutile-type particles. 内容記述 | We developed a modified sol-gel coating method with rutile-type TiO2 particles to control the crystal phase of the photocatalytic TiO2 layer coated on a stainless steel substrate. We demonstrated that the crystal composition (anatase/rutile ratio) of the binary TiO2 coating layer could be easily controlled via the modified sol-gel method by changing the concentration of the rutile-type particles. Binary TiO2 coating with a controllable crystal phase and an enhanced photocatalytic activity will contribute to the application of photo-disinfective orthodontic dental brackets for improving oral health during orthodontic treatment. | |||||
