| 内容記述 | This paper is the second part of the work of the present author, which aims to bring into light themedieval Russian folk cult, which was mentioned in several preaches by the medieval Russianauthors as the Cult to“Rod i rozhanitsa”. The first part, printed in the previous volume of the samebulletin, was intended to acquaint readers to the materials and trace the history of the research ofthe cult. The second part is bound to analyze the religious aspects of this cult, try to reconstruct itand depict its real mentality. About this cult, the present author draws a conclusion that this cult isthe fusion of the worship of ancestors and that of the Great Mother of the Earth in the form ofhierosgamos. | |||||||||||
