| 内容記述 | ハルゼミはマツ類につくセミで，かつては大阪府では丘陵地から山地にかけて広く分布する セミとして知られていたが，1970年代から顕著になった松枯れにより衰退した．2000年頃からインターネット媒体により，市民からハルゼミの鳴き声の情報を蓄積してきた．これらにより，大阪府では山地に細々と残る程度にまで減少していることがわかった．人為が影響する前には海岸部や平野にも広く分布していたこと，2030年頃までに大阪府からは絶滅することが推定される． |

| 内容記述 | The cicada species, Terpnosia vacua（ Olivier,1790）, was historically known to have a wide distribution in the hill and mountain areas of Osaka Prefecture. In the 1970’s however, the prevalence of pine wilt disease on host trees caused a decline in these cicada populations. Since 2000, various internet resources have been utilized to gather cicada song occurrence data collected by citizen scientists in these localities. These records indicate that population sizes have decreased and are now limited to mountain areas in Osaka Prefecture. It is estimated that the distribution of this cicada species likely covered the plains and seashores before the influence of the human activities, and that all populations in Osaka Prefecture will be extinct by approximately 2030. |
