| 内容記述 | The internationally renowned German architect, Bruno Taut, is known in Europe a an architect of immense genius who, due to Nazi persecution of left-wing thinkers, was forced to seek exile in Japan. What is not known in Europe is that Taut wrote a significant amount of work on Japanese Culture. The focus of this paper focuses on the contradictions between Taut's reputation as a left-wing architect in Europe and his active support in Japan for a most oppressive form of culture. | |||||||||||
