In this study, four different light sources (A, B, C, and D) with varied light spectrum ratios, were used to cultivate P. frutescens var. crispa. We compared the Von (difference between minimum and maximum bioelectric potential) among the light sources. P. frutescens var. crispa was harvested 30 days after germination, and plant height and fresh weight were measured. Von for light source B was determined to be the largest (80-90 mV). Plants cultivated under light source B demonstrated the maximum plant height and fresh weight. Light source B had a higher intensity at wavelengths of 450 and 660 nm compared with the other sources.
