Also, a definition of \"transmitted expression territory\" was established. The study was done in two parts: objective comprehension of the factors limiting exercise and of the transmission of expression. In physical exercise, the torso, which supports the whole body and which is obliged to maintain the body right up, is extremely restricted in the potential of its movements compared with the arms and legs, which have wide limits and delicate ability to adjust. As to the expression of emotion by means of movements of the torso, the following results were obtained. In bending back and forth, contraction in the horizontal and vertical directions brought about a concentration to the MIZOOCHI. The movement preceding the contraction, where the phase change was observed, was understood to be an exercise pattern which combines organically with internal human emotion, such as \"dark\" or \"feeble.\" In bending from side to side, some parts of the body (the sinciput, shoulders, ilium, knee; etc.) describe a curve drawing the figure eight, and the extent of the ability to sense expression can be established by a simple movement such as \"flowing.\" On the other hand, torsion was described as \"soft,\" \"deep,\" etc. by means of a curved distortion, while the exercise of twisting until reaching the limit and then turning back was described as \"mechanical\" combined with a spring. From these results, the various images through physical exercises were confirmed. To bend the torso into one figure or another is to produce an imbalanced situation in the whole body; nevertheless, there are some exercises which benefit some parts of the body, and it seems that this imbalance is a factor which causes a tendency for the audience to gather mainly a \"lonely\" or \"solemn\" impression, whatever the specific figure.
