| 内容記述 | The purpose of this practical report is to show multiplicity in male students’ perspectives about gender and social consciousness in the new specialized subject of the international communications program, “Communication Studies Ⅰ” which started for the fourth-year students of NIT, Tsuyama College from 2019. In this course, students reconsidered their own perspectives on topics of gender, including feminism, gender bias, LGBT people, and HIV by discussing the rock musical, Rent. In consequence, they came to notice the prejudice of the people of U.S.A. in the late 1980s toward HIV-positive people, and further, to know the significance of embracing multiplicity of perspectives, such as gay or transgender. The students finally noticed a free choice in life among sexual minorities concerned with seeking an answer to what is a sense of ‘genuine’ in oneself. | |||||||
