In order to calculate this measure, nature of the received Doppler signal is first investigated in the following points; (1) The received signal from land or sea. (2) Spectrum of the returned signals from land or sea. (3) Effects of a finite beam width on the received pulse shape and the altitude-hole. Then, the S-N ratio in the receiver is estimated theoretically, including detectors and a frequency tracker. The S-N ratio thus obtained is compared with the threshold S-N ratio of the frequency tracker to find the performance margin. The measure of performance margin makes possible an unbiased comparison between the various Doppler radar systems, and also it may be of use to find factors for future developments of the Doppler sensors. 内容記述 | 各種の機上ドプラレーダについて,S-N比の観点から見た一つの評価基準として"performance margin"という概念を導入し,その性能の理論的な解析を試みた.このperformance marginを計算するため,まずドプラ受信信号の特性を知る必要があり,受信信号電力,陸地および海面からの反射波のスペクトル,ビーム幅が有限であることによりおこるパルスの形の広がりとアルチチュードホールの平滑化などについて検討を行なった.そして各種の雑音源,検波器および周波数追跡装置によるS-N比の変化を考慮することによって受信機出力のS-N比を求めた.performance marginは,こうして得られたS-N比を周波数追跡装置の限界S-N比と比較することにより見出される.このperformance marginの数値により各種の機上ドプラレーダ方式を偏見なしで比較することができるようになり,また将来小型軽量のドプラセンサを開発するために有効と思われる.なおこの解析により従来知られていなかった種々の受信信号の性質や受信機の性能が明らかになった. | |||||
