| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的は,警察,死体検案医,解剖担当者による自死遺族支援の可能性を検討することである.検討の結果,警察が自殺を装った殺人を疑うことが自死遺族を大きく傷つけていること,検案費用や解剖費用,検案書発行手数料の請求に明確な規定がないこと,検案医や解剖担当者が実施内容や結果について遺族への説明責任を果たしていないことなどが自死遺族の死別後の苦しみをさらに増大させている恐れがあることが分かった.警察は犯罪被害者支援の経験を活かし現場での支援実施責任者として自死遺族に特化した明確な支援を提供できること,検案医と解剖担当者は機転を利かせ積極的に警察と相談の上,遺族に結果を紳士的に説明し自死遺族に特化した支援を提供するなど,欠くことのできない重要な役回りを果たすことができることを指摘した. | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify how a bereaved family can obtain the support of the police, the postmortem examination doctor, and the person qualified to perform autopsy. As a result of this study, the following facts came to light. When police suspect homicide disguised as suicide, it means that the bereaved family has been wounded greatly. There is no clear regulation that sets a limit on the expenses incurred in an autopsy or in acquiring a postmortem certificate. In most cases, neither the postmortem examination doctor nor the person qualified to perform autopsy explain the process or divulge the results to the bereaved family. And this may further increase the pain of the family. I also pointed out that the police can provide specific support since, with their experience in dealing with crime victims, they are in a better position to do so than the postmortem examination doctor. The postmortem examination doctor and the person qualified to perform autopsy can also play a vital role in providing specific support by explaining, in the most tactful manner, the process of the autopsy and revealing the results of the examination to the bereaved family after they have spoken to the police. | |||||
